The non-profit association 'Over the Hedge" investigates,with its initiatives, the symbiotic nature of culture and arts, the explicit or not explicit forms of mutual influence. Inviting artists from different cultural backgrounds and disciplines to work around a specific concept, creates a form of confrontation both in the thinking process and the artistic creation. In this confrontation, the artist acts as the representative of his / her individuality and social reality. Analog and contradictory artistic and philosophical insights become more transparent and give way to more basic communication. The undercurrents of artistic, cultural and social identities are becoming more visible. The association "Over the Hedge" will initiate, support and facilitate this process and will open dialogue with the public.
